About REVELREVEL is an AI robotics company developing physical intelligence for general-purpose humanoid robots. We capture the force, dexterity and intent of human work with our Neural Gambit wearable, and use it to train RAI, the intelligence that powers our robots. REVEL is headquartered in Palo Alto, California, with R&D and engineering facilities in Prague and Hradec Králové, Czech Republic. This role is on-site with our industrial design team in Prague. The RoleREVEL is looking for an Industrial Design CAD Engineer to help turn product-design concepts into accurate, manufacturable and fully integrated hardware.Working closely with Product Design and Engineering, you will translate evolving concepts and approved exterior surfaces into detailed CAD. You will develop the internal structures, mounting points and assemblies that allow exterior components to attach securely, move freely and provide access to the robot underneath. This role connects the visual design of the product with its physical construction. This is a hands-on role working with real prototypes and an existing robotic platform. You will help take parts from CAD through printing, assembly and physical fit testing, refining designs alongside the team.ResponsibilitiesDevelop detailed parametric CAD from industrial-design concepts, approved surfaces and imported geometryTranslate design intent into manufacturable parts and assembliesDevelop internal support structures, mounting solutions and interfaces beneath approved exterior shellsResolve part divisions, mounting points, fasteners, clearances and tolerancesIntegrate exterior components around joints, sensors, cables and existing mechanical systemsDesign for straightforward assembly, maintenance, removal and replacementPrepare geometry for 3D printing, rapid prototyping and future production methodsWork closely with the printing team to fit, test and refine parts on physical prototypesMaintain clear, organised and version-controlled CAD assemblies as a shared reference for design, printing and engineeringContribute technical input throughout development, working iteratively with Product Design, Integration and Engineering through design reviews and prototype testingRequirements3+ years of relevant professional experienceStrong parametric CAD skills, including substantial professional experience with Autodesk Fusion (Fusion 360), which we use for detailed parts and assemblies. Experience across other CAD platforms is also valuedExperience developing physical products from concept through prototypeGood understanding of assemblies, tolerances, fastening and mechanical integrationKnowledge of materials and manufacturing processesExperience designing for 3D printing and rapid prototypingAbility to work quickly and precisely within a multidisciplinary team, incorporating feedback from design, engineering and physical testingA relevant portfolio demonstrating resolved parts and assemblies, with evidence of physical prototypes or manufactured outcomes and a clear explanation of your own contributionBonus qualificationsExperience applying design-for-manufacture and design-for-assembly principles across multiple production processesExperience producing technical drawings and assembly documentationHands-on workshop, printing or prototype-assembly experienceBonusesWork That Ships: We capture how skilled humans work, their force, touch and judgment, and our robots do the work. You put robots on a paying customer's floor, not in a demo loopThe Team: Colleagues from NVIDIA, SpaceX and Neura Robotics, and founders you work with directly. No layers, no process between you and the decisionsEquity for Key Roles: For select positions, meaningful stock options mean you're not just working here, you own a piece of the outcomeSalary and Quarterly Bonus: Strong base pay plus a quarterly bonus, in a city where it goes furtherUnlimited Paid Time Off: Real flexibility to take time away when you need it. We trust our people to own their work, their time and their resultsYour Own Hardware: A top-spec GPU workstation, cluster access, and hands-on time with the robots you're building. Not a software sandboxKeep Learning: Conference budget for select roles (GTC, CoRL, ICRA), and room to publish and contribute to open source where our IP allowsPrague, On-Site: Robots need hands, so we work together in our Prague lab. We are particularly interested in how you resolve practical integration, assembly and manufacturing problems, not only the appearance of the finished model. Applications without a relevant portfolio will not be reviewed.
