GL / RTR Accountant

It’s part of how we make better decisions, run smarter operations, and scale sustainably across our international markets.We are expanding our Group Finance Centre and looking for a process-minded RTR Accountant to join our Record-to-Report team. In this role, you will help own month-end execution across multiple entities, ensure the quality of account reconciliations, and actively participate in building more efficient accounting workflows as we continue to grow.Why this role is excitingMulti-entity visibility: You will gain direct exposure to closing processes across multiple Group entities, building a comprehensive understanding of international operations.Process ownership: We don't stick to legacy workflows. You’ll have a real voice in identifying bottlenecks and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the RTR function.Data-driven environment: You will work alongside experienced finance professionals, using data and structured performance metrics (KPIs) to elevate reporting quality.Growth and development: Exposure to Group-level reporting and cross-functional finance projects provides a strong foundation for long-term career growth in financial operations.What you’ll doMonth-End Closing: Execute the month-end closing calendar across multiple Group entities, ensuring all deadlines and quality standards are met.Journal Vouchers: Process regular journal entries and maintain high accuracy across financial records.Account Reconciliations: Perform regular account reconciliations to assure timeliness, quality, and accurate balances.Process Improvement: Identify operational inefficiencies and participate in initiatives to streamline RTR workflows.Performance Tracking: Participate in performance management, track core RTR KPIs, and collaborate across Group teams to resolve day-to-day operational issues.What we are looking forBackground & Experience: 1–2 years of hands-on accounting experience with direct practical knowledge of Czech accounting standards and local statutory requirements.Language Skills: Native or fluent Czech/Slovak speaker, combined with business-level English (written and spoken) for daily collaboration across international Group teams.Education: Degree or ongoing university studies in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance.Continuous Improvement Mindset: Demonstrated experience or strong interest in driving process improvements and task optimization.Personal Attributes: Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, clear communication, and a reliable, structured approach to daily tasks.What’s in it for youWe offer a fixed-term contract to cover parental/maternity leave.
