You help build the setup, influence the standards, and leave a visible footprint from the start.Why this role is excitingYou'll join at the launch of a new fulfillment center, which means real influence from day one.You won't just maintain existing ways of working — you'll help build, shape and establish operational processes from scratch, on the floor, with your team.A new site means new teams, new automation tech, new habits and a real chance to set the culture the right way from the beginning.You'll be visible and present on the shop floor daily, leading by example rather than managing from a distance.You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams like OpEx, Automation, HR, IT, and Transport to solve live challenges.This is a role for someone who thrives on startup energy, likes dynamic situations, visible impact and building something that will scale — from the ground up.What you'll doAs Operations Manager, you will lead a core shift on the shop floor, managing a team of Area Managers to drive high performance across safety, quality, and productivity.You will:Own the shift: Be present and hands-on, driving shift-level operational performance, safety compliance, and labor management directly on the floorLead & develop: Coach, mentor and scale your team of Area Managers, ensuring optimal staffing, skills, and readinessWork with cross-functional teams (Automation, OpEx, HR, IT, Transport) to solve live challenges and align resourcesMonitor site KPIs, conduct root-cause analyses, and champion a continuous improvement culture — grounded in real shop floor observationSupport implementation of new processes, tools and automated systems across the fulfillment centerDrive standardisation, safety compliance and best-practice adoption in a new operational environmentSupport operations during peak periods, weekends and holidays with hands-on problem-solvingBuild an environment with stronger standards, better processes and an engaging, high-energy culture from Day 1Drive your shift to successful outcomes and help teams adopt new ways of working smoothly and consistentlyWhat we're looking forDirect, hands-on warehouse or logistics operations experience is essential — this role is for operators, not project managers or strategy professionals3+ years of experience in warehouse/logistics operations, with real time spent leading on the shop floorProven track record of directly managing large teams (50+ people) in fast-paced warehouse environmentsA genuine willingness and desire to be present on the shop floor daily, not primarily in meetings or behind a deskStrong analytical mindset, data-driven decision-making and problem-solving approachExcellent communication, coordination and leadership skillsProficiency in English, and conversational-level CzechNice to have:University degree or MBA in a related fieldExperience with Lean, Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologiesExperience with WMS tools and high-volume automated fulfillment operationsWhat's in it for youFair reward – You'll get an attractive fixed salary, with no bonus games or politics.
